Booking Conditions
Health
All clients should satisfy themselves prior to departure that they are fit and well to travel and ensure that they have the necessary vaccinations and medication (e.g. malaria tablets). Any client with a pre-existing medical condition, illness or disability should obtain medical clearance prior to departure.

Once the holiday has started, Climbing South America reserves the right, for reasons of health, to stop a client from continuing on the trip. Climbing South America has no responsibility and liability for any disease or illness encountered during the trip.

Travel Documents
The client must ensure that they have: a valid passport, the correct visa, travel insurance and other travel documents necessary for the expedition.

Liability of Climbing South America
There is an element of risk with the climbs, treks and biking we offer, we will provide adequate supervision during the holiday, however Climbing South America can not be held responsible for any injury incurred during your holiday.

Alterations and Cancellations by Climbing South America
Due to the places Climbing South America works in we may need to alter or cancel your holiday. In cases of alterations these are often beyond the control of Climbing South America and so therefore we are not accountable for such changes. In cases of cancellation by Climbing South America a full refund will be provided.

Charges and Payment
Once a booking has been confirmed Climbing South America will require a non-refundable deposit of 6% of the holiday. 1 month prior to departure Climbing South America will require the total balance for the holiday.

Cancellation by the Client
In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel the trip we will need to have a written cancellation notice. Due to large portions of the trip costs being committed in advance of the date of departure, we will provide the following refunds:
1. There is a non-refundable administrative charge of 6% of the holiday per person for all cancellations
2. cancellation 0 – 7 days before departure: no refund
3. cancellation 8 – 30 days before departure: 50% refund
4. cancellation 31 – 60 days before departure: 75% refund

Cancellation charges will be applied from the day written confirmation is received by Climbing South America.

Climbing South America is not responsible for the terms and conditions of any airline tickets, for lost, stolen or damaged baggage or equipment, or any expenses incurred in the event of such loss or damage.

Prices
Climbing South America reserves the right to impose surcharges at any time in the event of unfavourable movement in exchange rates, increases in transport costs, or if government or political action should require us to do so.

All clients are expected to respect and obey the laws and customs of the countries visited during their holiday.

Privacy Statement
Any personal information Climbing South America collects through this website, will not be passed onto a third party, it will purely be used to confirm your holiday booking and kept on file for our purposes only.

Insurance
Climbing South America is also able to offer you insurance for your holiday at an additional cost, through Zurich. The policy starts at US$4 per day for 1 to 15 days. If you would like further information on this, then please contact us.
